Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS engine ... or abstraction ?

This  bas-relief wall sculpture pays particular homage to the famous Porsche Flat 6 engine, cornerstone of the Porsche 911 success over more than the last 60 years.

The artist mobilises all his talent to develop an impressive 3D perspective, emphasizing all the organic beauty of this engineering piece.

At another level, far from a pure representation of a technical object, the way the artist designed and arranged the volumes together leads to an abstract sculpture. Some spectators perceive some familiarity with the Modern artists Fernand Léger and Jean Tinguely, also inspired by rotating machines.
